Coordinator - GT Promoting Relationships, Identity, and Mentoring through Engineering
Undergraduate Research Assistant – Space-Time Diffusion Foundation Models
The student will work alongside the PI on one or more of the following: (1) training and evaluating spatio-temporal latent diffusion models on PDE benchmarks (PDEBench, the Well) and physics video corpora (Physion, Kubric); (2) building rollout-consistency evaluation pipelines and ablation harnesses; (3) running and analyzing experiments; and (4) contributing to data preprocessing, visualization, and reproducibility tooling.
Required: strong programming in Python; familiarity with PyTorch or JAX; linear algebra and probability at the level of ECE 3077 / MATH 3215 or equivalent. Preferred: prior exposure to deep learning (CS 4644, ECE 4699, or self-directed projects), experience with HuggingFace Diffusers, Git, and Linux command line. Coursework in dynamical systems, PDEs, or controls is a plus but not required.
Strong performers will have the opportunity to contribute to NeurIPS / ICML / ICLR submissions and to continue across semesters.

Our marketing group has 4 openings for student assistants, with appointments starting in mid-October 2025 and lasting through the end of the Spring/2026 semester. The work will consist of the development of marketing materials based on the description of inventions and will involve creating and distributing visually appealing summaries of those inventions, in addition to other related marketing activities. Excellent writing skills are required for these positions.
Criteria:
• Ability to be employed in the US is required. OTL is not able to sponsor work visas or permits.
• Experience in the use of MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and generative AI tools (text, images)
• Attention to detail- This position involves editing AI-generated texts
• Be enrolled at GT for at least one year

Our marketing group has 1 opening for a student assistant, with appointments starting in mid-October 2025 and lasting through the end of the Spring/2026 semester. This position will also have primary responsibility for assisting in the design, organization, and creation of a new “Available Technologies” website for the Office of Technology Licensing. Responsibilities related to the website may include assisting with website layout and structure, organizing technology listings and digital content, creating visual and written content for the site, and supporting ongoing website updates and improvements. Excellent writing skills are required for this position.

Student Research Assistant

We are developing an immersive Unity-based Virtual Reality Learning Environment (ViRLE) focused on sustainable construction practices, specifically improving worker safety, physical health, productivity, and task performance through the use of wearable robots (exoskeletons).

• Backend systems and data pipelines

to support realistic simulation and data-informed learning in construction engineering education.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Student Research Assistant with strong Unity development skills who can take an active role in building and extending Unity-based VR environments.
The position requires hands-on work in Unity (scene development, interaction logic, avatar control, data integration), alongside AI and backend components that support sensor-driven analytics and feedback within the VR environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain Unity-based VR environments for construction task simulation
• Implement interaction logic, scene workflows, and avatar behavior in Unity
• Integrate sensor data streams (IMU, EMG, EEG, eye tracking) into Unity
• Support AI-driven analytics and feedback within Unity applications
• Assist with backend system development, including data pipelines and structured data storage
• Develop in-VR data visualizations for ergonomic risk and task performance
• Support motion tracking, avatar mapping, and real-time interaction workflows
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary research team focused on construction practice improvement
• Document Unity workflows, system architecture, and integration processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong background in AI, machine learning, or data analytics
• Strong experience with Unity (C#, scene management, prefabs, animation, UI)

CRC Lifeguard - Summer Semester
Getting started is easy! Simply apply online, attend an interview (either our open slots at 5pm Tuesdays or individually scheduled), and attend/pass one of our lifeguard certification classes.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
• Lifeguard must possess a valid American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification.
We offer this certification class monthly at the McAuley Aquatic Center for no cost to offered employees. All materials will be provided for the course included in your course fee. The course is a blend of 8 hrs of online modules and 22.5 hours of in-class/pool instruction, typically done Thurs-Sun.
QUALIFICATIONS TO TAKE LIFEGUARD CLASS
An individual must be at least 16 years of age or older and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to enter the course and must be demonstrated prior to class participation.
• Lifeguard candidate must be able to continuously swim a distance of 200 yards (without resting) using the front crawl and/or breaststroke. The candidate must stop after 150 yards, tread water without the use of hands for 2 minutes, and then continue swimming for 50 yards.
• Lifeguard candidate must be able to recover a 10 pound weight from 11’ feet down and swim with it on their back for 20 yards. The candidate must get out of the water in under 1:40s.
• Lifeguard candidate must be able to recover a 10 pound weight from eight feet (17') water depth
• All required uniforms for this position are provided by the CRC as part of your employment
• Team members must make their own accommodations for parking
NON-GEORGIA TECH/USG STUDENTS

ABOUT THE PROJECT
We are developing an immersive Unity-based Virtual Reality Learning Environment (ViRLE) for construction engineering education. The environment is designed to support learning around sustainable construction practices, worker safety, physical health, productivity, task performance, and the use of wearable robots such as exoskeletons.
At this stage of the project, our primary need is to further develop the Unity experience itself. This includes improving the VR environment, refining construction task simulations, supporting avatar movement and interaction, and creating realistic animations that make the learning experience more immersive and usable.
The project also includes supporting components such as sensor data, AI-driven feedback, and backend systems, but the main focus of this position will be hands-on Unity development, rigging, animation, and interactive VR experience design.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Student Research Assistant with strong Unity experience to help build, refine, and extend a Unity-based VR learning environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working directly in Unity and should have experience with rigging, animation, avatar control, interaction logic, and scene development.
This role is especially suited for someone who can help bring the virtual construction experience to life through realistic character movement, task-based animations, interactive workflows, and smooth VR user experiences. Experience with backend systems, AI, or sensor integration is helpful, but Unity development, rigging, and animation experience are the main priorities.
